Microsoft now warns it could take up to 24 hours for the update to take effect however, in my instance, I created a new Import Job in less than 5 minutes. Click Save after selecting the Mailbox Import Export role. Open the Organization Management position in the admin roles. Go to Permissions in the Exchange Admin Center by going to. Unfortunately, processing this modification can take up to 24 hours. You must first provide the Mailbox Import Export role to the Global Admins in Exchange Online before importing. As a result, this can be somewhat costly, but it is a preferable solution if you need to import several hundred mailboxes or more. ![]() The cost of drive delivery, on the other hand, is roughly $2 per GB of data. The network upload is entirely free however, it may take some time to upload the data. If you need to import a large number of mailboxes, you can upload them to Azure storage or use Microsoft's drive shipping service.
